McAfee is offering $100,000 to any person who will be able to breach the security of his hardware wallet.
John McAfee, who joined the Bitfi team recently, has made a bold statement regarding his cryptocurrency wallet, which he purports to be the first unhackable device in the world. Upon receiving numerous pushback on his statement, he reaffirmed his position and chose to make an offer worth $100,000 to anyone who will manage to hack the wallet. You can view his full tweet on the offer here:

Just after making this statement, Bitfi made some rules that will guide on how the bounty will be won to make it a well-organized effort.
According to the rules made by Bifti, the team strongly believes in the value of such a bounty offer in a growing effort towards resolving any possible security concerns regarding their wallet. The team clarifies that the bounty offer is not aimed at helping them identify security vulnerabilities for they have already certified their security as absolute such that no outside attacks whatsoever can penetrate or breach the cryptocurrency wallet.
Bifti argues that the aim of the bounty program is to assist in demonstrating to the general public that there is actually something that cannot be hacked. They also intend to use the bounty to prove that any hacking attempts into the wallet will be futile and all the assertions they have made about the security of the Bifti cryptocurrency wallet are true and accurate.
According to the rules, anyone who wants to claim the $100,000 offer will not do so while using a Bitfi device they personally purchased. Any aspiring hacker, as per the rules, will have to buy a special device with preloaded coins at an extra cost of $50.
According to Bitfi, anyone who will manage to empty the coins that will come with the wallets on the special devices will win the $100,000 bounty. The person will be allowed to claim the $100,000 offer and keep the coins and the wallet.
We can assume that the special devices Bitfi will issue to the participants will be already initiated, making the seed totally invisible to any would-be hackers. By so doing, Bitfi will find it easier to track and verify whether a specific wallet has been emptied or not upon synchronizing it using a full node on their computers.
If Bitfi proves to be unhackable, then it would be right to assume that Ledger and Trezor are also unhackable cryptocurrency wallets since they are yet to suffer any security breach despite being in existence for some years now.
