The recent Uber scandal haven`t affected the company`s business negatively in terms of sales revenue.

Uber`s adjusted net revenue has raised to $1.75 billion in the period, this is up from $1.5 billion in the first quarter, as Business Insider (BI) (businessinsider.com) wrote.

Cross bookings, or the amount customers pay for rides on Uber, were also up with 17% in the second quarter from the first quarter, as the publication noted.

As for Uber`s global trips, they reportedly increased 150% year-over-year, including 90% growth in developed markets and over 250% growth in developing markets, according to Axios (axios.com).

“Uber spent most of the quarter under the cloud of a well-publicized internal investigation into sexual harassment and other unsavory aspects of company culture, and ended it with the forced resignation of CEO Travis Kalanick. The ride-hail giant’s core business, however, appears to have kept humming along.”, reads an excerpt from the article.

In addition, Uber`s adjusted net loss shrank to $645 million, a 9% decrease from the first quarter, as BI pointed out.

“Uber had $6.6 billion in cash at the end of the second quarter, down from $7.2 billion at the end of the first quarter.”, according to Caroline Cakebread, a tech intern at BI.

It is to be seen whether the company`s revenue is to keep stable despite of the recent firings and scandals.
