Flux, a company focusing on reinventing receipts, has announced a trial with global bank Barclays.

Founded in 2016 by Tom Reay, Matty Cusden-Ross, and Veronique Barbosa and launched in 2017, Flux tries to remove paper from the payments transaction cycle. Flux took part in the 2017 Barclays Accelerator powered by Techstars, and has to date raised $1,500,000 from London-based VCs like PROfounders, Anthemis, Force over Mass and others.

The new collaborative project with corporate and investment bank Barclays is offering itemized digital receipts to the customers of the two organization, as stated in the press release published on Flux`s website.

The test is to be conducted with the help of estimated 10,000 users of the Barclays Launchpad app, the bank`s platform for testning new features with real customers. The latter helps the bank and its business collaborators learn more about how best to meet the customers` needs.

Michael Harte,  Group Head of Innovation at Barclays, commented in the official statement:

“Through the Group Innovation Office and Rise, our open innovation community, we continue to partner with FinTechs to experiment and test new ideas”,  saying that the bank is delighted to be trailing Flux technology as part of their general efforts to improve customers` experience with their services.

On the other hand, Matty Cusden-Ross, Co-Founder and CEO of Flux, said that the company`s team is willing to digitize the world`s receipts, elaborating that they are excited to be working with the customers of Barclays.

The Barclays trail will be live soon. Everyone who wishes to register can do it here.
