The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced its co-work with the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship, Growth, and Renewal at the McCombs School of Business at The Univeristy of Texas at Austin.

The two insititutions are organizing the SEC`s annual Government-Business Forum that will take place on November 30.

“The annual Government-Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation provides the opportunity to hear directly from small businesses about their experiences interacting with investors and our regulatory system in a very important segment of our capital markets.“, said Chairman Jay Clayton as quoted by SEC`s press release.

The morning session will foster a discussion on how capital formation options are working for small businesses. Also, the small businesses in Texas will be discussed.

The forum is starting at 9 a.m Central Time at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin.

Registration is open online by November 27 for anyone who wishes to participate in a breakout group either in person or by teleconference.
