Aragon, a decentralized management platform, has collaborated with a decentralized browser, messenger and gateway Status.im.
This collaborative project is believed to allow users to create and maintain their organizations on a mobile device. In this way, they could have access to governance, fundraising, payroll, accounting and others.
“We believe that the blockchain and the Internet are changing the incentives for companies to exist, and we are building tools for the next generation of companies that will take advantage of these changes.”, as Aragon wrote on their website aragon.one.
The idea is to solve the problems of distributed companies and open source projects that spend a lot of time dealing with tasks that can be done much easier with technology.
Recently, the management platform Aragon has only been available on Windows, MacOS, Linux and web browser, failing to meet the needs of about 2.3 billion smartphone users.
“It was the need for bringing Aragon to mobile, without the excessive development hurdles of building native Android and iOS applications, which inspired our collaboration with Status”, as Luis Cuende, co-founder and project lead at Aragon said before cryptocoinnews.com.
“Aragon is one of the projects we are most excited about in the entire space.”, explained Jarrad Hope, co-founder of Status.im.
“The ability to form borderless organizations, instantaneously, and at a fraction of the transaction costs of traditional infrastructure, will foster entrepreneurship on a global scale. Naturally, a mobile interface is a perfect match, particularly for catering to developing markets.”, as he added.
Aragon has also been said to raise $25 million in 15 minutes at its ICO token sale that took place last Wednesday, as cryptocoinnews.com wrote earlier.
However, the company views contract upgradeability and decentralized attribution as one of its greatest challenges. It is to be seen how their service will improve into the future.
