QuickBooks users will now be able to send international payments over a blockchain. This is possible via payments company Veem that is providing an alternative to international wire transfers.

The integration allows QuickBooks Online users to pay international bills through the QuickBooks platform with an automated system, as stated in Veem`s press release.

“Part of Veem’s mission is to support the network of small businesses that help prop up the global economy.”, as Marwan Forzley, CEO and founder, Veem, said.

“QuickBooks’ network of accountants and financial professionals represent many of these small businesses, and we look forward to leveraging that network for distribution so we can continue to bolster small businesses across the globe.”, as he added.

Veem promises savings between 102% on every bill sent or received, with discounted rates for larger transactions. The company earns from a flat $15 receiving fee and foregn exchange rates. Sending payments through the platform is free, as cryptocoinnews.com noted in a report.

The service is to assist steamlining the process for users and accounting professionals using the software, as the article pointed out. The API integration allows users to enter their bills into QuickBook, so that their details can be automatically sent to the Veem platform.

The company wrote in a statement that the QuickBooks Online integration is available now and free for current Veem customers.
