BitClave, a Blockchain start-up, is set to create a decentralized ecosystem that establishes the connection between customers and businesses.
Online advertising still has its flaws as users seem reluctant to share personal information. In the meantime, businesses have to pay huge sums to “middlemen” in order to reach their audiences, as bitclave.com wrote.
“The more companies are forced to pay to “middlemen”, such as Google and Facebook, the more money consumers have to pay for the products. Businesses end up losing money, and consumers end up paying more for less value, creating a lose-lose situation.”, as the company pointed out.
“In order to counteract the problems described above, BitClave proposes a system in which the intermediaries are eliminated.”, said BitClave, while commenting on the problem.
“In this ecosystem, consumers have control over their own data and can opt into advertising and analytics services by retailers through the use of smart contracts.”, as they added.
The BitClave Active Search Ecosystem, or BASE, is a platfrom offering a robust search engine. Users are reportedly able to create profiles outlining types of content they are looking for, and search for specific messages, as cryptocoinnews.com reported.
However, their preferances remain private thanks to blockchain technology. In other words, users can display their search and advertising preferances without showing their identities to businesses. Merchants reward the users with Consumer Attention Tokens, or CATs, in case there is a match between a conducted search and a posted advertisment.

He performs a search, but instead of tons of irrelevant links and ads, he gets personalized offers from car dealers who compete with each other to show these offers. The Consumer Attention Token pre-sale launched 25 July. After going live, they managed to get enagement due to their discounted pre-sale mode.
