Barclays, a global financial services provider, is reportedly allowing small business customers to use their new “SmartBusiness Dashboard“, a single location, where users can follow real-time banking data.
As finextra.com wrote, the bank has collaboraed with app providers like Office 365, Intuit QuickBooks and Twitter to offer businesses the chance to import their everyday business data and information provided by the apps into one dashboard on Barclay`s online banking site.
Business customers will be able to access a set of APIs from which to import their existing apps or download new ones.
Ian Rand, CEO of Barclay`s Business Banking said that this offering intends to help SMEs to manage their cashflow, compare data and make improvements to help sales growth, as the report pointed out.
“Busy business owners shouldn’t have to spend time sorting through different spreadsheets, reports or switching between apps – we’ve created a tool to give businesses time back – and this is an efficient way to run and grow their business.”, as he commented in an interview with finextra.com.
“SmartBusiness Dashboard helps you be more productive by making it easier to see the information you need to run your business.”, according to Barclay`s website.
The bank`s business clients can use the service for free through their online bank accounts.
